Three tips on what to look at to find the perfect bag.
I recently have been purging some of my camera bags and I have had quite a few. I have so many due to trial and error so I thought it might be useful to share what I now look for in a bag since I’ve been through so many! 🙂
- Style – I like a bag that is colorful and fits well on my shoulder. I don’t usually care one on my back but if I get a backpack style I then make sure it is comfortable caring on my shoulder.
- Ease of Access – I like to organize my bag, everything has to have a spot and like things need to be together. But the pockets need to be easy to access so you don’t have to dig to get to one thing.
- Size – so I don’t like a small bag, I wish I could settle into a small bag but I don’t think that will ever happen….Since I like a large bag it can’t be too heavy empty and it has to be a size that doesn’t make me look like I’m packing for a couple month vacation.
Before I purchase a bag for a purse, camera bag or computer bag I consider the three things above the most. I think through what I want in the bag and how I want to store the stuff in the bag. Lastly I consider when I’m going to be using it. Is it for everyday use or will I only be using it on a trip? So don’t forget to consider when you will be using the bag as well.
Here’s a video of how I use my Cheeky Lime for a vacation and what I’m able to pack in this camera bag.
Wish it. Dream it. Do it.
